 Just drive down and park in the car park. Only worth going if it is big. Also watch out for the people swimming which there always are.

once in a blue moon
just moved 2tha goldy but b4 i left i got one of the better tubes of my life at flyns when it was solid...if this ever happens 2any one else take my advice, never surf there again cos ur not eva gunna get a wave like that again, at least not a fylns!!

the thing with flynns
its not too bad when it gets a big 2m high tide and the banks are in close and its about 3 feet. The little lefts in front of the car park are fun. It really starts to get interesting when it gets above 6 feet breaking past the bombora in front of the carpark. If you move a little to the south against the rocks you can get a nice right into the beach. Few rocks here though. I grew up at flynnys and have been surfing here for around 20 years. All time is when it is above 6-8 feet out the back with a heavy shorey. no crowds at this time...
