Additional Surfing Infos
watch out for chnging rock formations at the southern end, this area is only reccomended to fairly experienced surfers.
  Overview
Atmosphere A rare gem of a wave in australia. Boomerang, whilst not as good as its cousins further north, is still a very consistent break. it offers a poit break like setup at the southern end over a rocky reef. all the way long the beach there are great banks providing some epic beachies on the right winds. at the northern end there is a large headland protecting it from the summer nor-easters, this is the only spot in the area to offer this unique capability. overall boomerang is a great beach offering some class waves.
General One of the great places in Oz. I have had some of the best surfs of my life here.
although i am only young i have surfed surf all of the east coasts great waves and boomerang certainly rates up there as one of the best, i would reccomend every surfer gives this great beach a go

Small Beauties
Totally hot sun plus a small swell. The wind dropped since yesterday at Bonny Hills so we got clean waves. Unfortunately the sets came in every 10-15 minutes only. Glassy lightgreen walls but a bit too small...Outlook is for 1-2 days flatne

epic
boomers is probably one of the best spots in the area. its open to so many swells its insane. i can always rely on it to have some quality waves, which is good since i live in sydney where the waves are as inconsistent as a motherfucker. if a se wind is blowing, you're fucked, expect some mushy-arse slop cos thats all you'll be surfing. another place in the are i recommend is a beach called seven mile. totally uncrowded, and a whole bunch of peaks that seem to go on and on (can get a bit sharky!).

extremely good fun
hey there to anyone who reads this.i just got some really nice waves there on the southern end beachie. i know it closes out onto 1 foot water, but alas, i am a bodyboarder, i call coffs harbour home. this wave is hollow, fast, and has alot of punch for its size which is what made the beach break outstanding. but you should look out for the locals. they kinda follow you around the break.

better than tahiti
it has to be the best wave in the world... no doubt. if dylan jones surfs it it must be epic
