corinindi beach
nice and out of the way but just out of coffs. reminded me of perfect hossegor which are some of the best beachbreaks i have surfed. didnt get the right hand point that good but some friends got it a week later. this whole area is so beautiful its ridiculous and only a few locals but really friendly if you not taking the piss. same as anywhere. we didnt even have a 4wd and we surfed by ourselves on this stretch of coast in perfect points ,reefs and beachies for ten days and only saw the same couple of guys from time to time. look after this place.take your rubbish.like they say in oz."dont destroy what you came to enjoy" thanks coffs and surrounds for making our east coast oz adventure. luke uk

Corindi beach break is a secret surf spot frequented by the likes of powerhouse surfers such as Andy Irons and Jake Patterson. The fast hollow waves are notorious for breaking the spirit of inexperienced surfers when large southerly swells are summoned by tropical cyclone and low pressure storm cells off the east coast (between 27-32 degrees latitude). There is a fierce local pecking order at Corindi point, so be sure to shred or be shredded.
