Cone Bommie Access
Boat Only! This is an offshore bommie off Lord Howe Island. I have been to the island 5 times and have seen it breaking once. The swell was 6-8ft and the islands beaches were perfection. This bommmie should hardly be listed as a spot but I have seen it breaking and it looks surfable. On a boat that day we went by and it looked crazy! Jetski, boat, or a 8km paddle from island. This is off the east side of the island.

cone bommie rushers
My mate and I just come back from "the Howy" and mate we just went off at "the cone" . It just rises straight up off the ocean floor until about 15 ft below surface . Big Southern Ocean Swell PUMPING over the reef and it's GNARLY . Deep water wave with a good proxy for towing in . 50 m wall but the drop in is just epic . We not sure but we may be the first guys onto it ??..Coming in through the nobblies after was pure hell but , ey , we made it .
