HEAVY - HEAVY WAVES ON THE WEST SIDE TAKE A GUN
By knoB , 22-07-2008
- i agree with the frog. over rated and over priced for a surf destination. but a good place for kids and oldies.

What a hoax - I spent a few weeks there recently and found the waves inco and soft! I surfed most spots on the island and found all were sectioning over rated half reefs. Not worth the over inflated price to get there ( let alone accomadation costs!). The locals were mostly friendly although a little paranoid about protecting thier 'very' average waves?

By Stead , 07-11-2005
Been there too - Had an epic week there in June 04 ... surfed both sides of the island though the lagoon side was clearly the pick. Found a very long left one day that I surfed alone for about 2 hours ... locals were great / if you go there respect the island and every thing it has to offer / a very cool spot that I can't wait to go back to one day
