Overview
Atmosphere
This break can give you an 'all-time' session if the conditions are right - and they are closer than not most of the time. No dramas with locals, a peaceful place.
General
Crystal clean water, good waves, good people and dolphins in the morn
SMURF
tathra is the bom, it gets that good nice heavy waves up the beach, vicos should stay home though they do tend to crowd the place up and surf mals without friggen leggies.

Close out city
Usually closes out, blown out in summer, freezing in winter, but there are some classic days where waves peel off in front of "The Pole", a few hundred metres up from the surf club. Up the northern end, Mogareeka can dish up some nice sandy wedges and no one around. Waves can be shifty and rips strong. Tip: If Tathra is good, look elsewhere...it will definitely be better.
