Fucking Tools......
The South Coast is way to crowded already....Why do people feel the need to talk shit abouts waves that they never surf!! yeah the waves been in Riptide , Movement , Waves , Tracks and the rest... I'm a local Booger and i've seen all the spots turn into fucking circuses this place is no exception... but i'll tell you one thing this wave was never surfed to its full potential until the Tama guys (Jose , Buntos , George O , Grizzla etc) came down and went fucking nuts... How can locals blow up about waves they don't even surf??? I'm a local but i'm not going to claim i surf the place 15ft just to make some internet geek think i rip/charge or whatever.... come down and let your surfing do the talking.... Anyone in the water over 6ft that is catching waves is to be respected....

idiots and the internet
for god sake ppl lets just get one side of u (the net surfers, the travelling surfers, the dickheads who surf that have no respect or manners for locals or blow ins alike and cock head media crews) and the other side (the locals i:e been nowhere done nothing) and pit u all into a contest.
the winner is the group that can talk the most shit cause thats all i hear on this comment thread.
to the so called "coggens" locals (by the way ppl thats not what this monster of a wave is called) i have surfed there once before at a fun 4-5 foot and let me tell u guys most of these idiots on the net wouldnt even paddle out and if they did they would more than likely leave sporting some nasty injuries.
secondly u guys should welcome crews popping up for a session here and there, its the surfing ethics of the younger generation of bodyboarders that is the problem i:e paddling straight to the inside as soon as they get out there, not waiting their turn in the line up after already getting a bomb wave and little smart asses dropping in.
heres a tip to all that are visiting other ppls breaks in secluded areas.
1.dont suit straight up and paddle out if ppl are already there, wait for half an hour, they might come in for interchange.
2.when u paddle out no matter how keen u are for a wave let at least one set go through before u catch a wave as a show of respect, then slowley make your way into the line up.
3.FOR FUCK SAKE NEVER travel to breaks in groups larger than three. two is ideal but three is the max limit, dont be bring a fucking tarago van full of grommets to someones break all yahooing, jumping around yelling and shit.
ande as for me coming back there well i would have many many times by now but my mate took me there and im damned if i remember how to get there.
anyone wanna invite me down for a week of barrels bbq's and beers???
