Yep this is the very first beach I learned to surf at at the age of 8 on a blow up body board and foam surfboard on 1 - 2 foot waves...to say its for expirenced surfers is crap!!!!

I agree with Luke. Bulli beach is a great surf beach but surely only for the beginner to intermediate who likes a consistent break and sand bottom. Anyone more serious gets off on Peggy's or Sandon a minute or two walk North. The south of Bulli beach does hold up well against a large South-East swell though.
