Atmosphere |
The place is often packed with tourists, but if there's waves they tend to stay out of the water. If theres waves, its really consistant.
Swell changes dramatically with the tides. Keep your ear on the Coconut Wireless for surf reports, and hop on it if its breaking.
This spotcan get really good, but the wind can play havoc with it. If the waves ever hit over five feet, head to Lamai's reefs or Secret Beach's perfect bay. |

General |
Inconsistant, totally, but one of the best spots on the island for a bit of speed. Good lefts & rights. You can rent boards here. I've seen it machine perfect maybe three times in two years. If its on expect to paddle a lot. It's easy to get swept down the beach. |
