Its an unknown break because its not visible from the road. to acess this break look for the sri gemmnu hotel or rathna guest house. the break is right infront of the rathna guest house. the locals will show u the rest.
the only people who surf this break are the guys who work at the guest houses..they are champs and are real good surfers..so there a joy to surf with

this place is bloody brilliant , it dostn have the commeralism like hikkaduwa does..u can ride waves all day and have it to yourself! its awsome..best local surf spot to go to.

Awesome place
Been there for a few months and took my first surfing steps there ;)The place is awesome and the locals are great when you get to know them a bit better. Watch the tide though, water gets to about 30cm deep with reef all over the place..Tip: try the off season, the locals find the water too cold then :P

we've visited unawatuna sevaral times...it's a wonderful place with very nice people!!u can get a life time experiance ..........&so much fun.
