sri lankaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! - theres a lot of different views on this site man. but people listen up, ever been gang jumped in england for being in the wrong place at the wrong time i know i have its the way of the world like it or not.dont listen to the unlucky few and miss the surf and sunsets hold your balls and take the plunge! im going with my sri lankan tribe iv met up with magicaly at a job how stoked am i? im also taking my chick to share those sunsets with. man i wouldnt take her if i thought it was trouble. as for the civil war being down south my dudes have said such thoughts should be removed from the mind and replaced with surf and sand sri lankan style!!! peace uk aaron

fridge height - hey there anonymous. i use the same scale as you when measuring waves. if it isnt over fridge height i throw a couple of slabs in the fridge and kick back and wait. good on ya son.

Sri Lanka Surf a Pipe Dream - Spent many months in Sri Lanka and if you are looking for good surf, go somewhere else. The surf is crowded, when it does work, and rarely gets over fridge height. The locals are really friendly too. I saw a gang of 20 do over an English guy with spears and clubs for dropping in. The same crew, on Independance day, anchored an inflatable tyre out in the break and proclaimed if any Westerner surfed that day he would be killed! Go somewhere else!

damn nice island - island is nice. like hawaii. surf is good, and there are many surf shops on the coast. nice sunsets and those kinds of things if your with a chic. air is clean too. i think i'm moving there.

Heaven, i can smell you!!! - I'm smelling paradise, i'm off to Sri Lanka for the winter to surf nice waves in warm oceans, 'cos i'm used to on shore, inconsistant cat piss in freezing water, I love you mother Cornwall but from now on i'm a Sri Lankan. Anyone from Cornwall coming to Sri Lanka this winter the mail me. Hang ten, surf hard and don't let your mum cook your chips in lard.
