I surfed it in 2003 on a 5 foot face swell. It was very shallow and fast but at the same time a really easy surfed wave. Not for beginners but for average surfers. The was far longer than 150m.. We've must have had at least 250 m rides.. Either we were lucky or we were in dreamland.. but nice was it. Best wave in Hikkaduwa!

Naming of Bennys
Does any one know if this spot was owned after the name of the proprietor of a B&B (on the oceanfront) nearby? Just curious - my dad was good friends w/him. I think he passed away recently.
