Spots in mindanao? - Hey everybody,
i'm going to the PI this sunday and was wondering if anyone knows any spots aside from the visayan islands. I'm heading to Mindanao and hoping to find some good surf while I'm down there. Any spots and tips would do.

wanna know a bit about the Phili's - hey guys, i'm planning a trip to the philippines during december and i'm only gonna be there for about three weeks. Is it worth comin now or should i wait and plan it better and come during peak swell season. What is the likelyhood that i'd get goo waves on Siargao, or could you recommend anywhere else.

Samar in January - I'm gonna be in Eastern Samar, staying in Borongan, in early January. If anyone knows of any fairly consistent spots in Samar, info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Philippines [Sometimes] Perfect Surf - Over five trips between 1996 to 2003 I have clocked up three years in the Philippines. The highlights Baler's Cemento Reef all alone 2-4 foot, light offshore for 7 days in December 1997, Cloud 9 alone at 4.30am 4 foot glassy conditions in April 2001, The Bommie all alone 4 foot sheet turquoise glass in August 2002, epic lonely surfs at Stimpeys, Pacifico, Cemetaries and the [semi-secret] northern reefs. Getting perfect conditions takes time. Cloud 9 is usually stupidly crowded but there are so many other waves. Go spend a year or two travelling on Siargao and up the coast of Samar, you'll get more waves than you ever wanted, mostly all alone!
