Cebu Trip
I am going to Cebu on this Decemeber and can any one please tell me where can i get a nice surfing location and close to Cebu? It is a good session to surf over there?

transport from Cebu
Hey Mike take the Cokaliong nite boat at 7pm from Cebu and u will be Surigao City by 9am the next day. Then take the Fortune Angle at 11:30 am to Siargao Island. U will arrive at 2pm. Ud b able to surf Sat afternoon and Sunday morning then u have to catch the 12 noon boat to Surigao so u can get the Cokaliong nite boat back. Long way to go for 2 sessions. I dont think there r any flights Cebu Siargao.

Surfs up!
Wow surfed "Stripes" solid 6 ft with some 8 ft clean ups. Thought I was back in Hawaii. Fun fast lefts but still doesn't have that I'm gonna drown Hawaiian feeling. Which is a good thing I think.

Wow great surf the whole contest, overhead barrels la dat. Hard to stay and watch when there is a swell. Still managed to surf **** ****** with only 2 guys out even with all the people here for the show. Ya gotta love the Philippines.

Lot of new faces and new energy as the contest draws nigh. Met Nick and some of the gang from Billabong on the boat from Suurigao. Surf, small to non existent last week but looks like a swell will arrive on Monday the 1st day of the contest. Good luck everybody!

Cloud 9 is only 1 spot there are lots of places to surf if there is a swell. Don't worry be happy!

im a portuguese bboarder and i will go next week to cloud 9... im a litlle bit disappointed because i had read something about a billabong contest there... should be impossible to surf cloud 9 in that days...theres some good options for that days????,when i say good options im talking about sick waves and hollow...

about the Philippines
Just a comment about the opening paragraph on the Philippines page. There are lots of islands, and while you can't just hop on a plane and go exactly where you want to be there is always a way to get anywhere you want to go. When I go back to Hawaii I amazed at how hard it is to get anywhere unless you have a car or 50 bucks for a cab. In Surigao you can load almost anything on a tricycle and go across town for 50 cents or less.
