You can rent a board once you are on Siargoa Island. With the price of traveling with a board nowadays, I alwasy recommend renting where you can. I know there is also a way to get to paradise by vehicle, but I do not know it well enough to give directions on here. Paradise and Daku Island are very close to eachother so surf either break depending on the wind direction.
Overview
Atmosphere
I didn't get to surf this place in the peak season so I honestly don't know how good this place can get. I do know the reef is shallow on a lower tide such that you won't even be able to duck dive the wave. Booties are a must here and it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to have some gloves as you will be ditching your board and grabbing reef on many occasions. The wave looks like it has potential on a good swell and can get very hollow.

I surfed this spot in January with a bunch of locals. Respect them and they will respect you. This place is not for beginners because the reef is shallow and sharp. If you go to the Island, look for Jonathan. He is a great boat captain. Him another Captain drove my wife and me back to Surigao. a 5 hour trip, during a typhoon. They had to drive that back and in the dark, with no compass or radio. Definitely use this guy on your boat trips.
