located in the town of cabugao, ilocos sur. upon entering cabugao take the turn off for Salamague Port. follow that road until you reach brgy. Sabang. about 6.5 km from the national highway.
this spot is about a 2.5 hour drive u the coast from La Union. |

| | you can park at Carolines Beach House located in front of the wave. There is lodging with clean rooms and hot water and AC. They also have a restaraunt for after surf relaxation.

Atmosphere |
This spot is located in the fishing village of Sabang. You can get boat rides to other surf spots nearby by hiring boats here. This spot breaks with any north swell and gets really good with the tides pushing in higher. Rarely does it blow out as it bends around the coast and is protected. Even with strong winds on the outside, the faces are still clean and surfable. |

General |
Not a great wave for barrels, although it does offer some in certain sections, this wave is long and has a nice shoulder for big gouges and turns. It has a deep channel for easy paddle outs, as long as you make the section. If you don't it gets shallow fast and may put you on the reef. Can hold huge swell due to the deep channel and rarely closes out. really fun at shoulder to head high...but better when overhead. |
