just finished a lucky 2 day trip..it was a grind to get there,but i feel it was worth it.the charts showed definite swell on the way,so it was either la union or this spot i had never surfed before..its probably no different from la union except its 1/10 the crowd..i had it to myself,than 1 other surfer later..if u want to hav a fun time go ther.if u want hollow killer waves go to cloud 9.know what u want n u wont complain.read the charts n u will score..carolines is the place to stay.good service and people and they have boards if u need.ok,go for it,u wil be stoked um did

Dot & I recently stayed at Carolines Beach House and found it to be of good value, nice meals Alice,plenty of typhoon weather(after all it is August)but most importantly
excellent surf!Find Kido,hes the lucky one....Sabung beachy goes off!

Recently Surfed
Just came back from a surf trip on the west coast of Luzon. Stayed at Caroline's surf resort for one night and it was great! Caroline and Darrin are a very hospitable couple from the states. Their resort is literally a stones throw from the break. Although I caught the break after the swell it was still a fun wave. When small be careful of the shallow reef! Cause of the small waves at the time i rented their longboard and caught some fun looooonnnnnggg waves. If you get there on a swell they can hook you up witha boat that will take you to two other breaks off an island that will offer lefts for us goofy footers. I suggest surfing this break if you ever get the chance, and also staying at Caroline's surf resort. Its worth it!

there is now a place to stay in Sabang right in front of the break. Carolines beach house ( you can contact them thru carolinesbeachhouse.com or cell phone # 09267463900 ) offers clean rooms and great food. run by an american and his pinay wife. friendly place with many other spots to surf accessible by boat. Nearby islands that offer world class waves can be surfed with nobody out.
