Rob Stayed there for two weeks on the beach had great waves I am an experienced surfer from Aussie you just have to pick the time good fun waves. The nockers can stay away ther real locals know the secrets. I have a house on the beach there I would rather spend a lazy month there in traquil harmony with the occasional good wave than battle with the wankers in Indo. Cloud nine and zambales (Crystal Beach and The Point) for me .

Are there surfboard rental shops at Crystal Beach? Is it easy to rent boards in Crystal Beach? If so, what are the rates? How are the conditions of the boards?

CRYSTAL BEACH let's give DODO RAMOS respect for saying he over hype the spot. he already said he was sorry.. but for people that haven't been here DO NOT expect too much about this place... waves is NOT world class!

maybe waste of time maybe not I agree 100%. not very consistent waves but the real locals (non-surfers) are very nice!.. I don't mind comming back. waves in san diego california is very consistent. I locals we meet were very cool! they even took us on a fishing trip (free) ate their food (free) drank their beer (free). as far the resort "F" that resort they charge for passing by! but there is a small path way that's free!. my august trip will be here again not looking for great surf but looking for great company if surf is there Im sure I'll be surfing.

Always flat, full of posers and expensive accommodations Zambales itself is always flat. Although it could get radical once it's rainy season. It's actually a beginner's spot. It's full of boastful Maneilenos. Full of long boarders. The vibe isnt that great because there are only a handful of real surfers. 90% are posers, like La Union. It's dissapointing because you'd have to pay for the entrance fee, plus you'd have to pay more or less $20 for a freaking nipa hut with no restrooms. I'd rather go to Bali, Daet or Baler.
