2-3 Hrs. Travel from Manila. Take North Diversion Road then Exit at San Fernando Exit. Proceed North again passing through Olongapo City, Subic, Towns of Castillejos, San Marcelino, then San Narciso. When in San NArciso, follow the directional signs going to CRYSTAL BEACH RESORT where the surf spot is situated.
this spot is bad for half the year. during the north swell its pretty good, but you have to check the swell before you go. make sure its at least 3-5 ft. or else forget the trip.
General
its cool during the north swell. during south swell its shit, choppy as hell. just a mess. during the south swell pundakit kicks ass.

Stayed there for two weeks on the beach had great waves I am an experienced surfer from Aussie you just have to pick the time good fun waves. The nockers can stay away ther real locals know the secrets. I have a house on the beach there I would rather spend a lazy month there in traquil harmony with the occasional good wave than battle with the wankers in Indo. Cloud nine and zambales (Crystal Beach and The Point) for me .

Are there surfboard rental shops at Crystal Beach?
Is it easy to rent boards in Crystal Beach? If so, what are the rates? How are the conditions of the boards?

let's give DODO RAMOS respect for saying he over hype the spot. he already said he was sorry.. but for people that haven't been here DO NOT expect too much about this place... waves is NOT world class!
