surfing in Maldives
Loads of Atolls and reefs, pristine crystal clear water, and great surfing: you'll need a boat though!

1190 islands are spread over 26 atolls, ringlike coral formations enclosing a lagoon, which gives the Maldives its unique paradise-like appearance.

They stretch for about 820 km from North to South, 130 km at the widest point and do not exceed a length of 4.5 miles or an altitude of 6 feet above sea level.

No more than 200 islands are inhabited, the rest includes the 87 tourist resorts and uninhabited islands, some of which are used for drying fish or other agricultural activities. Not only does it consist of the most beautiful tropical islands, but 99% of its 90.000 km² is covered by the sea.

generetor relly noisy, and with a bad smell....it was on all day......

TROPICAL CRUISE a bad experience :(
Yeah, such a terrific experience on TROPICAL CRUISE boat.
When on board of Tropical cruise boat,
www.tropicalcruise.co.uk
I had to "fight" with jurassic beatles; they used to walk on me when sleeping. I never had a local surf guide as specified on my contract.
A lot of time lost because the vessel sail no more than 3 knots (not 9 knots as thei site says). The boat at 5:00 pm must stop in a port and this is not specified on contract or internet site: I was the first to leave the spots, while my friends were still surfing. Motor generators fuck your brain with their impossible noise. Around them all the gasoline tanks: just a little firing and the boat will be a bomb.
Interiors is falling down, beds are dirty flat prison styling put on some old and wet woods, bathroom are dirty and smelling and more than one time I had to share it with the beatles, as big as a mobile telephone. No way. I called the boat owners and asked for a solution: no way, they simply answered it was my own problem. A very bad experience, stay away from that!!! Never go TROPICAL CRUISE.

Don't go TROPICAL CRUISE!!!
I've just back from a Maldives surfary with the boat TROPICAL CRUISE. Don't go TROPICAL CRUISE!!! The boat is a little old, slow and dirty trick. Our cabins were full of big black beatles. They were verywhere. Bathroom were smelling and so bad. The boat was the last to leave in the morning and the first to go away from the spots. We had to stauck 3 whole days in south Malè where flat, cause we had to waiting for the new captain, while our friends on the other boats were surfing perfect waves in th north, where we asked to go. W e could not sleep anymore in cabins cause the beatles in the beds. Always raining in the cabins. Fans do not work, lockers are broken and generators are so noisy you get soon crazy.
NEVER GO BY "TROPICAL CRUISE"!!!!
