Additional Information
There are many surf spots on the northern part of Kyoto. Mostly these spots start working from late September to March. The peak season is November to Febuary. During the peak season, you can surf almost every day, but you got to be prepared, for the water is F*%$% cold! The locals are pretty strick around these area. Pretty cool guys, but very Samurai type freaks. You must learn wabisabi, or else be kicked out from the beach.
