Located just 10 mins form Misaki guchi train station. Ask direction from a taxi driver and they can tell you how to get there. It is tricky beach to get to. |

| | This spot is a real heavy local spot, I grew up on this beach and was the first to surf it... The locals know my name and have treated the beach with respect. There are two points.. a left that breaks in front of the parking area (benjo)
and my home break, called Dolphin point. This place used to be for military offices housing area, now turned over to the government. The point has a a frame wave with guttsy power. Deep water then spills over reef. The left is fast hollow and short. There is only a few japanese local who will challenge it big. They usually stay at Benjo. It has hugh creeper sets but you can escape if you're good surfer. This place still remains a secret spot and even japanese pros won't surf it, cuz of the locals.... If by chance you surf it, tell them you read this on the net by a guy name Haynes...

I love this beach, it's located in a cove and you can see mt fuji on a clear day. The seahawks will dive down after your food, so be careful..
There is some good hiking areas and fishing... |

General |
Since I learned to surf here , i have many fond memories. The typhoon swells produce many epic days here and I have all of them documented in film. The wave looks clean and powerfully thick when it breaks. ..The locals look after the beach and have some good parties...and so did I.... |
