It works only with big typhon swell. The spot is dangerous. Don't come alone.

CHIBA - Mera is located southern most part of Chiba. Need approximately 3 hours+ from Tokyo using toll road. Head to "Heisa-ura"beach and look for Mera port(very small village). Only breaks in strong solid south or south-west swell like typhoon. 8ft thick left barrel in a good day. Probably best season is May-Sept

Fun Surfer - This place is supposed to be a secret spot. It only works when huge south west swell from typoon is picked up. Top locals and pros are there on the big days but surfable only for a few days in a year. When it's big, you will never think this place is Japan.
