can anyone tell me if its possible to rent or buy boards along west java e.g. around the baya area?i know bali's got shed loads but i dont know if its a different story!will o bring one from ireland or not!!!!

shhhh it's a secret
sunset is a great (sometimes) lil' mal wave or for shortboard beginners. when the swell is tiny & cimaja is lapping on the rocks at 1ft slip around the point to the west to sunset. If the banks and tide are just right you'll get some epic little trimming toes on the nose walls. If it's closing out just take off on the white-water cause there's often a twirling lil' reform on the inside. If you get there it & it's terrible don't split. Hang around for 30 minutes & there's a good chance it could get good. If you get there & it's good get out there quick cause there's an extremely good chance it will get terrible. You'll mostly be surfing it with the local grommets (honing their craft for Cimaja) cause all the bules are at the pub talkin shite & waiting for that big swell (which they'll miss anyway).
