Tinjil
I have gone to Tinjil twice but have yet to get waves. The last time the Island was quarantined by the University of Washington for raising monkeys, so staying on the island is a challenge. Nearby also is Deli Island. You might try a local boat from Muara or better yet, Jawa Barat Charters. Let us know if you score waves

Boards
Get boards in Cimaja from Aidin and Jerry. Really cool locals starting a business there. They have about 30 imported boards in all sizes. bought two epoxy shortboards(BYRNE 6'1 and 6'8) which rocked.
Support the locals there!!!!!

Living in Bogar
Hi, I have just been offered a job in Bogar. i have heard there are waves around Pelabuhan Rata Beach. Can anyone tell me anything about the place (Bogar as well), in particular, where is the closest surf, how far away is it, best way to travel, consistency, size, what boards should I bring. I am pretty keen to go but some info would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone is living in the area and wants to hook up and go surfing that would be great.
