Additional Surfing Infos
An ok wave, powerful, but doesn't really barrel. Not really what you come to indonesia for. Gets blown out early by SE trades in the dry (swell) season.
If you leave Jakartha early on Saturday mornings around 4 am you can usually get there in about 2-3 hours depending on your driver and the weather at the time. You have to realise that you are basically driving through 30-40 million people. It is only around 160 km (100miles) but the road can be pretty dodgey. Have seen quite a few pot holes that would happily eat a Kijang no worries. I know of people who have been stuck for 6 hours on the road to Cimaja. If you are keen for a surf and haven't been for a while then it is definitely worth it but if you are planning to drive down every weekend then I think you should make your car your next best friend because you two are going to be spending a hang of a lot of time together. Also a pick spot is Suwarna with it being a further 20 mins down the road but is pretty serious and has a nice reef lurking below.
  Overview
Atmosphere Fun spot. Will have it to yourself before about 7:30 am when all the locals paddle out and snake all the sets.
General Good warm up wave for harder spots in indo.

He is not working at Samudera Beach Hotel anymore. He is fired and not allowed to surfing in front of the hotel.

Why are you looking for him? Any problems with him?

Beware with Cimaja local guy named UJANG JITLI
I bought surf board with fin and leash from Cimaja local surfer named UJANG JITLI. I paid him in cash but I forgot to make a written cash receipt, because I thought I could trust him. I left my board at my friend's place, because I don't want to get busy bring my board to the city (I don't have my own car)

One month later UJANG JITLI told my friend (not me) that the board's owner didn't wanna sell his board. Can you beieve this? Why don't he call me? He have cellular phone and he know my cellular phone number. This guy is really shit!! He has a lot of stupid reasons to justify his action. I checked what he said to all of my friend at Cimaja and no one was true. I am sure he didn't give the money to the board owner. Unfortunately I can't sue him because I don't have a written cash receipt.

He told my friend that he will replace the board with another board complete with fin and leash. He promised next time I come to surf the board will ready to use. He said he still repair the board at his home.

One month later I got my friend to check the board he promised. That board was still not repaired and broken in two and don't have fins and leash.

If you see a small thin guy surfing at Cimaja Beach, that's him. He lives near Cimaja Beach. If you make transaction with Cimaja local surfer don't forget to ask his name. Don't make transaction with Cimaja local guy name UJANG JITLI or you'll be cheated.

Next time I see him, I'll give him 2 punches. That's for cheated me 2 times
