it's on an island off sth sumatra Theres another isl called Mega with a right and left reef pass We sailed from bali.small airstrip on sth sumatra (bilambang)is name of town.you can see the islands on any indo map.the wave wraps almost onto 270@ to itself. horseshoe city man. |

I was on a yacht with people that didn't surf.Wishing there was other surfers out(like snapper)NAAAAAH!got it 2 days 4 6 ft.The right on the other island is very similar t shippies on Nusa Lembongan,called Bones de Blanco.Safe anchorage there too.Deep reef pass.heaps of water in the wave,heavy.small looking sand dunes everywhere,are actually mountains of dead coral all white like bones.Hence the name.eeerie man. |

Well worth a look at both Mega and Bega if you happen t be sailing past on y way t the Mentawis or Panaitan.take your gun if the right looks 4ft from the anchorage.As you sail thru the reef pass on Mega the right will be churning, and a left on the side called TREV,will excite(low tide)only.Thinkin back,just noone around.Bush and green walls. |
