- Actually, "Sunset" is really a group of breaks, many of them not surfed. The wave towards the east is the real deal and no one has surfed to my knowledge. Lots of water moving and no real line up -- only feasible with a jet ski to get in and out. We took a boat and surfed one of the lefts to the west. Almost double-overhead, sectiony, with offshores. Definitely do not need a gun at this size. It was fun, but nothing epic. A drop, no tube, with some racy sections and corners. The name is rather misleading, but it does have that open ocean feel to it.
