Good wave at times if you're looking for a fat, non-barrelling wave.Mostly head-high stuff when there were waves. Long paddle or 20-30 minute trek out at low tide.No secret anymore... had lots of crowds on it most of the time
Atmosphere
Mellow people, off the regular Indo travelroutes.
Long mellow wave, the bigger the better the longer, holds easy triple overhead (then quite heavy)
Needs a good swell, because smaler swell window than other Indospots.
General
It is worth a trip!

T-Land - The wave is really fat, even when is big and thats only 1 or 2 times a year. Full of French Kants too. Malaria was rife when i was there and a local died. Theres better places in Indo.

Fun wave - I spent a few months here in the late 90's. It doesn't barrel, but it is a long ride and and handles any size swell. I had quite a few 6-8ft days and then some bigger. Gets a lot of swell. Wasn't really crowded so to speak. 10 ppl out would be a lot. Mostly oz dropouts whacked out on mushrooms or weirdo's married to locals. Water is way colder than Bali. It about a 800m paddle out to the reef. Boa nearby is a good right, but gets blown out by mid-morning.
If you see them washing the horses in the sea -they are going to eat them...
