Mentawai Tide Chart Anyone? - Hey There

Can anyone tell me a web sight or other source for the tides along the Mentawais? Be nice to know whether I'm surfing into or out of the tide as I skip along the reef.

Its a ZOO - Just got back, been comming sceince 96, and let me tell you its a JOKE. For the money you spend you might as well go to Bali now the crowds are the same, 40 people at ULUS 40 people at Lances Left. Same same. So ask your self what am I paying for ...not uncrowded waves thats for sure thought SARS and the Terrorists would keep the crowds down....no such luck. Just less yanks but more Aussies and Brazil nuts. Youll get more waves for your cash eleswhere. It used to be the best place for a cash to wave ratio now its the worst, theres well over 60 boats workin the area, you do the math. Mentawai or no Mentawai it just cant handle those numbers. The point is to stay ahead of the crowd not follow it.

tough to get prepared in SD - Hey i'm going here this summer but i'm not too sure about what i'm going to be riding there, how's it compare to say Big Rock in San Diego, CA? How big is it in the summer? double overhead? triple? quadruple? quintuple? hextuple? octuple? you get the drift. somebody let me know.

help - hey guys, im michael im 19yrs old and planning a surf trip with 3 of my mates. ive been surfing in bali and i loved it. i now just want to find a surf camp on an secluded beautiful island and surf for a couple of weeks with my mates. we are going to bali as part of the surf trip, nothing will stop me from going back and keeping it alive.any tips for our trip on what islands to go to.we will be very greatfull for your help. thanks, mick.
