Take the bus from Kuta to Padang Bai in Bali. Take the Ferry to Lembar in Lombok. Catch a Bimo to all the accomodations on the beach for the hardcore surfers. If you want air conditioning and tv then stay at the hotels nearby. Fifty Dollars is more than enough to go round trip. The trip takes 8 hours including a 5 hour boat ride. Charter Boats are also available from Bali.
