G Land in November
Has anyone been to G land in November? Was wanting to catch it on a good swell. Obvious comment to make, but just can't stand the crowd element. Thoughts?

impetigo outbreak
Currently there is a major outbreak of impetigo going through the camps that is highly infectious, so don't forget to bring your betadine and amoxycillin. Staff at the camps were the primary carriers who then spread it to the surfers and with all the overlapping of travel times the chances of infection are around 30 - 50 percent. This infection started around April and at time of writing there are still new infections happening. Don't worry the reef will scar you way more than this Staph will, just don't scratch the infected area then scratch your balls or your face or you will regret it.

Ditto!!
Good Point! Anyways, G-Land is as good as it gets. I've been there several times from June to late Sept, and only saw it 3 feet one day. It is actually on average about 3 ft bigger than Ulluwatu, so if Uluwattu is 3 ft, you can Gradjagan is like 6ft. Make sure you bring boots and a few boards. The wave is powerful. "Money trees" is my favorite session but all 3 sessions are awesome. Good trip and as always, respect to be respected. Aloha.

move on people!!!!
Brasilians are scumbags? aussies are scumbags? professional surfers are scumbags? Maybe we just need to accept that there are people from everywhere who do scumbag things at times and stop using this as an excuse to do and say scumbag things ourselves.
I was actually looking at this forum hoping to read cool stories about how good this wave is before my first trip there later this year...any chance of that happening?

jungle ponchos
how funny is the brazzilan dude sticking up for brazialans, his huge claim is he has lived in indo for a couple of years in the 80's??? fuck, just accept it brazo, your countrymen are a pack of clowns. if i could have 2 wishes, they would be 1) woodchip the entire amazon. 2) feed these woodchips down the throats of all brazilian surfers. if i got a 3rd it would be to get a smoker at g-land whilst nude and cradling an ardvark while an anteater tickled my balls.

dog pros
if tom carol dropped in on me i would kick his head in, most pro's are dogs with no respect that get taken to perfect breaks there whole life.

Respect!
"But above all respect all surfers and is likely that you will be respected." BTW, respect means not droping in, regardless of surfing level, unless you don't understand what respect means, which then it is no longer cultural, it is intellectual... Just to make it clear...
