Guys guys guys The ocean is big, no such thing as over ambition. If you think you can ride it, you can. If people are getting in your way, get out and find somewhere else. Share the stoke!!

your right Good call perception's. Just spent 12 days in Bali and mostly surfed Middles got it up to double overhead. Problem with Bali these days to many people are writing cheques there body can't cash, far to many over ambishes crew gettin about that basically end up getting in the way. Get out of the way surf a break you can handle you will enjoy yourself so much more.

perceptions Hey, before ya write a little hate message...think. If someone is goin out on their "big" day for waves, and double overhead isnt "big" to you, Let it go. Ulu's, padang, bingin, etc. are bigger wave spots and on bigger days connect real nice, if you can ride it. But if overhead in general is big, so be it. I rode middles at head high and had a fine time, It was big to me....perspective, perception and experience. Youre lucky people know their limits and arent out at Ulu's on big days giving it a go. Anybody think Lopez, and Curren, and whoever... are on here baggin on intermediate riders? Doubt it.

Shut it uhhh I dont need too! I have surfed ulu's at 8-10ft Padang at 8ft so i dont need to be surfing middles at double overhead. And i would much rather surf a top quality waves like Padang or ulu's at say 5ft that i would surfing some 10ft pile of shite such as "double overhead middles".

middles hmm i surfed middles over a 4 week period and had some pretty nice waves lots of people out alot of the time but could squeeze a few.... was there when was solid 7-8ft and decided to go over to airports left.. one dude in the water who paddles straight to the boat i was on.. with a pale face.. no one else was out... i asked him if it was makeable at all and hes like yeah.. like shit it was...i jumped out and thought yeah im hear this is what i came for.. the boat was gone in 2 secs anfd i was out... ohhhh my goooddd.. huge set came through and pretty much sucked into the impact zone... sooo hollow and powerful... didnt try for a wave wouldnt mind seeing a few more years... i am a competent surfer.. who has surfed some pretty heavy surf but that was damn scary... dont underestimate the place...... peace

shallow u all better watch out out there it is really shallow a lot more shallow than kuta reef but it is a bit more fater than kuta but it still barrels of its nut and is still powerfull

Middle Reef-a classic Great at high, mid or low tide, picks up more swell than Kuta reef and less crowded. Surf it a lot everytime I go to Bali, 4-8ft perfection, a great wave. Tubes, fast slashable and fun. Large peaks that just peel down the reef then close out on the inside.

surf check middles is a sok wave its a bit fatter than kuta and airports left but it also has fair power and is pretty shallow on low tide, similar to kuta reef, go see the boys out the back of the Bali dynasty resort and pay them rp30 000 return to go to middle or kuta reef, and rp50 000 to airport left. and its arounf rp150 000 to go to Uluwatu by boat and check all the spots on the way, (dreamland, immpossibles, bingin, balangan, padang and ulu's) you might not think the boats will go all the way but they are reliable.
