Rooms? Hey guys, Last time I went to check Dreamland, last February, they had erazed all the small warungs and bungalows... I didnt had the time to go to Balangan to have a look but have they done the same thing there or is it still possible to spend the night there in the warungs on the beach? Txs.

Balangan Well,There are several "warungs" there, the best one is NERNI's warung. She is the wife of the biggest local guy of that beach. It works better in hi tide when the surf is longger. But you can get some squizzed barrels at low tide. /break. Just respect the locals.

Sharks!! Not only have there been sightings.......some dude had his board bitten a few weeks ago and another guy got pushed off his board by a shark just having a look!!! Lucky escape. The water's been colder than usual, so the smaller fish have been moving closer to shore, and the sharks with them.

building of warungs About four warungs were there at the end of may and others were being rebuilt, the resort development is going ahead at great pace.

true that, i could not believe it, story goes somewhat like this, owner of land wanted to make room for resort, there still are acouple of warungs, but most of them are burnt, some locals looked really scared ad puzzled about loosing their biznis, it freaked me out, the wave is still epic, can't burn that!!!!
