Bubble Why is the OZy dude blamming the french and pommes for drop ins and seppos for paddling past and snaking people. Oh i forgot, Ozzies behave perfectly in and out of the water in Bali (yeah right). Just to let you know a lot of people from Europe surf well and we are not kooks. You are a ignorant for thinking you would get good Ulus without a crowd. I am from the UK and i surfed the spot pretty much every day for a month and did not drop in on one person (except for my friend). At the end of the day, people in the lineup will judge you on your first wave and you will be granted you spot in the pecking order. If someone snakes you then snake them back. They will not do it again. If you want uncrowded waves then dont get pissed in Kuta and go in at six in the morning.Easy

friendly locals I'm an eleven year old from queensland, australia and went there last week. I surfed Padang Padang, Uluwatu, Balian, Airports and Nusa Dua they were like heaven compared to the gold coast but the locals here were so friendly and they were all cheering me on.

take it on the chin couple of runs out in the sticks resulted in great waves and good times for my first indo trip in ten years. a yearning for the lazy end of holiday ulu hangout staying on top of the cliff was going to be the icing on the cake. looked at the hotel after weeks in the scrub with the surf fun with only ten out and prepaid for a week.regret set in from the first paddle out. i was expecting crowds but the reality of this lawless respect free lineup flattened me.not just sheer numbers but the absolute disregard for every one else out is bullshit. not just brazzos or even local cockheads but kooky cunts like french and pommys now think they are surfing ulus solo despite the sixty other people out.i ended up sitting out more than a few sessions just watching and still did not feel like loser cause every wave or at least two out of three waves there was a drop in / snake situation that leaves you shaking your head. i have never surfed the superbank but that is what i imagine it is like. after more than a few mind altering waves at other locales it paled in comparison. so be prepared, you cant do a thing about it. if this does not appeal dont go if you are still determined do what my chic told me to do -" shut up your whinging, get out there and take it on the chin you girl". sound advice from someone that has not been faded for the upteenth time by a united nations of fuckwits. p.s. why dont seppos think they are snaking if they paddle slowly past with one arm between sets ?thats not an ulus thing just a seppo thing i think.

who can they be fooling? Bodyboarders what? There is a big problem among surfers because they even respect themselves. I pick some big waves 8 to 10ft and there was a lot of surfers seating in line up doing crowd. If you get the right attitude and go for it you'll get some respect. Some, because surfers will always think they are better them anyone else no matter what they do and you donīt need leave your beach to now this! Why it will be different in indonesia, hawaii, etc. One more note, be careful we are the target!

beware indo local board thieves! great wave but watch out for the a$$hole locals that have an organised "board stealing" racket... they are positioned above, down by the cave and along the cliffs. if your leash snaps, bang, they are onto it in a flash. after you swim in (not always an easy thing to do at ulu's!) a "friendly" local will come up to you and tell you you have your board. oh great, you think. but yeah there is a catch. 500,000 rupiah. if you dont like it and try to argue, they will pull a knife on you. they did it to my bro, but we shut them down on the last day we were in indo, rocked up with the cops and they shat themselves and had to pull it out of one of the warungs. sucked in you stupid indos! ps make sure you do this on the last day of your trip, otherwise i dont think you will be surfing ulu's again without major hassles!
