I was there a week ago. Funny when I was at the beach. I thought the beach was very clean..Tide was high but I could tell that place is totally surfable when tide drops a bit. Nice offshore wind was blowing..There was no surfer in the water of course.. I thought I could be the first one to surf there but glad to hear that many of you already explored that spot. Surfers are true pioneers.

I went there twice last year and it was sloppy and unconsistent + the beach is filthy and the nuclear plant is really close.

check out surfingindia.net that'll answer all of your questions... also the main spots are Mahas, Kollam, and the Andamans... hopefully someday Nicobar will be open to surfers too...
