	You can check the swell from the car, since the road passes close the coast all along from Qingdao. Dapinglan is a village built on a point, center position in the middle of two bays. Right (South) one breaks on a longer lefthander. Expect some crowds on the weekend-road because the area is the nearest seaside of Qingdao city.

	Atmosphere	There are NO LOCAL SURFERS… so the atmosphere in itself is quite soft. Expect people come at you to see what the hell you’re doing out there : take time to explain.
