Shangchuan dao Access |

By road n°325, it's about 270 kilometers West of Macao (400 from Hong Kong), the island of Shangchuan is 13 km. offshore the Guangdong coast.
Go to Guanghai city and take a ferry to the island (or rent a boat for yourself).
You will probably land @ Shadi harbour : from there, go East to the main beach and... well... have it for yourself ! |

Atmosphere |
The beach is nearly 7 kilometers long, East exposed, with some rock points here and then. Sandbars will built close to the points and EXPECT STRONG CURRENTS after a flat period.
In case of big South swell (winter, typhoons far toward Vietnam) this beach can be used as a surf shelter. |
