I don't think these places were first surfed in 2005. South-Africans are numerous in Tanzania and they surfed the country. Besides most often one needs a boat as most of the reefs are very far away.

The tide ranges are also extreme and must affect a lot the surf. There are good spots for sure, but I don't think they could be defined as "world class".
