| | There are 3 breaks here. A lefthand pointbreak, a righthand pointbreak and the beachbreak. The most consistent is the beachy and lefthand point break on the southern part of the bay. The left is my favourite, long and powerful. Works well on a 4-6 foot swell. Ive surfed it big breaking longer and more consistent than Elands. Tricky to paddle in and out of. The right is shorter and not as powerful but works better when swell direction is in its favour. The beachbreak offers lefts and rights and is fun when the points are flat.

Sick spot. As far as I know a handful of other locals have surfed it besides us. (3 guys). Walking distance to all three spots, though 4x4 helps. Could be on private property, not sure. No one ever around as noone ever makes the effort to come up this way for surf, though if you do you can be assured that you okes won't be dissapointed. This stretch of coast sees almost 0 surf activity cause of its location, all the more reason to come check it out. Loads of secret and not so secret spots around, meaning pretty easy to find if you willing to drive. Watch out for sharks! |
