Drive through Still Bay West just before you get to th harbour take the dirt road to the wright drive passed the reef to the end of the road +/1 1km park your car and you will be at a large bay in the walk past the first bit of sand and paddle out at the first rock outcrop in the middle of the bay.
You take off on a Flat Rock called red nose rock. the take off can be very shallow depending on where you sit after the take off the wave fades a bit so carve a nice cutback and wait for it to build again. It then becomes very powerful as it runs over rock ledges to the beach.
Overview
Atmosphere
Go with a few mates if the rest of Still Bay and Jongensfontein are crowded this spot will evan work on a SE when the rest of this area is onshore. It may not look as good as Still Bay Point but you will stay out till your arms drop off. Also good fun to sit and watch your mates take offs(not to worry there is a slite gully just after the take off so there should be no serious injuries.
General
I grew up in the area and surfed all the spots in the area and this one is my favourite.
Remove this spot please!
Ive surfed this wave with two other friends for the last year and have never come across any other surfers here. With this said i would apreciate it if you would remove this spot from your list as the rest of the area gets pretty crouded and my friends and i would like to keep this wave as unpopulated as possible. We would all be very stoked if this spot were removed.
