Drive out of Plett towards the east (keeping the ocean on your right, for those who are geographically challanged...) 'til a small town called Keurboomstrand (!)
The spot has two breaks a left and a right, both on sand banks. Although the sand banks move around from year to year the right is the better wave working on mid to high tide.

Very peaceful and welcoming.... only the sharks to watch for here. As everywhere in South Africa, be nice to the locals, as good info won't just help you find good breaks, it might just save your life.

seen some sick pics o this place..most surfing is done just off the river mouth and u got deep gullys running parallel 2 da beach,not a nice place 2 sit with the knowledge that a local booger lost his leg! try the Wedge for bodyboarding,its a sick left hand wedge near the Beacon Isle hotel..if u surf out da bay watch out for the johnnys,one called da Robberg Express,gotta be fukkin big 2 get a name!
