Drive from Somerset West to Gordonsbay, then take the Rooiels road along the coast pass Koeelbay (caves) pass Rooiels and Pringlebay, about 10 min from Pringle bay and 25 min from Gordonsbay. Boards indicate main beach.The turn is right from the main road, next to BP garage

had buddies with beach houses here when i lived in stellenbosch. had some of the best surfs there, just me and my mates. only problem with this place is that the surroundings are so beautiful that i used to spend too much time looking back at the mountains and not forward at the wave, smash.more of a winter place, summer better spent at caves or pringles.my buddies saw a 3-4m raggy in the surf there after i had left, but it didnt eat them.

Howzit,am almost tjanking,sitting in Bristol I just chanced across beloved Bettys-havent surfed it for years BUT-Im coming back,I wil return&when I do Betts is gonna BURN!
