Readjustment of ratings The ratings of the waves in this section are grossly overrated and whoever posted them has a serious case of ego-centric , pure South Afrcan ignorance/arrogance . Come on guys get real . Travel a bit ( NOT to the UK ) out of the little area into which you have corraled yourself and I am sure you will rationalise that 5 of the top surfing spots in the world are not around PE .Its easy to be misled by the pure stoke though and those waves are awesome on their day . But aren't they all . regards and salutations the granted

Avolanche needs to be rated better Guys ,I think this whole Winter we have had limpwristed el NinoType waves ....but Avolanche has had some classic sessions compared to the other spots . Swell direction has a massive impact here so I reckon it did just that for Avo's .Oh to the guy that got cheese grated on the shelf other day ...shit it was funny ....come get the rest of your suit off the rock bud !Indy B

Last attempt! Hey! I realise this is probably not the place to try and find someone, but Ive been trying to get hold of an old friend and this is my last alternative! Im trying to contact Dennis Ellis, (the notorious), last time we spoke he was still living in PE shaping boards. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. His father Pat Ellis ran a surf and cycle shop in central. Thanks very much, sorry if Ive caused any hassle.Michelle Holmes
