Additional Surfing Infos
In Ramsgate, north of main Beach next to "La Dauphine" holiday complex. Rocky outlay with a point, wave running into the bay. Ask a local or a shop keeper in Ramsgate where La Dauphine complex is and it should be easy.
  Overview
Atmosphere Experienced surfers only, the jump of the point is difficult and the paddle is very hard. Generally difficult to surf. Paddling in from the bay is very difficult and the point jump can be hard during high tide. Many rocks scattered on the ocean floor, try not wipeout. The break is half reef half sand bar.
General The wave may look like it breaks on the rocks but it in fact carries all the to the end of the bay. Nice take off just a bit scary a decent barrel section and then a long shoulder high section on a good day. Very consistent, if you see this wave going off don't assume Ramsgate Beach is going to be good because it wont be.

unreal
well considering this break is right off holiday resort complex's its the best kept secret ever! people dont believe you can surf here its seen as more of a isolated beach rather than a great world class point break...which is sweet for the locals, rather difficult to find if you dont know Ramsgate well
