Additional Surfing Infos
VERY bad reputation for sharks: Don't surf alone, late at night or early in the morning, or if the water is cloudy. Apparently has one of the worse reps for shark attacks in S.A.! Some guy was caught a few years ago while his mates were getting suited up. Use your head, like anywhere, and you won't regret it.
  Overview
Atmosphere I surfed this place in Aug 2000 only once, so don't take my word for gospel. It was about 3'-4', hollow, fast and challenging. I would imagine at 6' it would be unbelieveable. Breaks on sand held in place by rock for the most part. It's supposed to be consistent and pretty much always uncrowded (probably because of the remoteness).
General Beautiful area, well worth a visit in my opinion. Easily one of the best spots I surfed in S.A. for the size, on that occasion at least.

Yep!
Breezy point is sick... one of the best waves in S.A. for sure. Reminds me a bit of Kirra but without the crowds.

By the way..
Even though this spot is on the East London map, it's actually in the Transkei, as the sharp among you have probably realised..
