At the North of Durban look for the Getaway center, close to the Natal Shark Board. Park the car in the parking and get into the center. Go to the till and ask fort the wavehouse.
At the begining get the help from the lifeguard and relax, because when you fall on the foamy bottom it can be sore if you are tense. Try dirtecly at the big flowrider but on a small wave. Ask the guy who choose the size of the wave to put it small.

Atmosphere
This is a FlowRider. Not a proper wave. It is really fun and has to be tried. That's one of the funniest things I tried. You can stay all day long in a barrel, no sharks, no urchin.... very cool. Go early and during the week and you are almost guaranted to have the wave for yourself.
General
Very fun but nothing in comparison to a real wave. It doesn't really feel like surfing... More like a mix in between wakeboarding and snowboarding. But it is really really fun. Everyone should try this once in his life.
