On the Beachfront of the bluff, drive along until you get to the Tidal Pool. Facing the sea, the left coming off the right hand side of the pool is brighton reef.
Park in the parking on the road. Do not try to walk out over the rocks and paddle off them, rather access the wave via the beach at Brighton. This spot really works in summer time with a medium size North East swell, from about 3-6ft. On high tide you can get long rides with big fat bowling sections. On low tide it is a racey wave with good barrels. Very rarely, when there is a big winter North Easterly swell and you get the morning Westerly/North Westerly winds it absolutely fires.
Overview
Atmosphere
Timing is everything for this wave. In summer North Easterly winds dominate and the sell rises and falls quickly. If you get it early in the morning when there is some swell and no wind you will get good waves. also during the wind lull before a cold front hits , whenthere is swell you get it good.
General
Not nearly as good as Cave, but can have a better wave in summer.
