AECI is mostly sandbank breaks that yield good waves when the sandbanks are optimal. The spot is past the fence that separates Strand beach from the prohibited AECI grounds. Whether the break itself is prohibited area as well, is uncertain, however access to the break is over the beach grounds but ive never heard of it being a problem.

Atmosphere
Something good here all year round. In winter if you have big balls and a jetski, try out the outer reef, Blinkklip. Otherwise just surf here and admire it from the beach.
General
Ive had some of the best surfs here. Best on clean groundswell 3-6 foot with no or little offshore wind.
