Searched for Surf in Sierra Leone I checked the Freetown Peninsula and Banana Islands for waves in the dry season. I don't know what type of experience the previous comment was about. Aberdeen Peninsula has nothing worth surfing. Burreh has potential with super friendly locals (only 3) and River Number Two may get some waves when the river is moving but when I surfed them, they were both small and not worth it.

Going to Aberdeenarea soon! ATTENTION MR.(or Ms.)ANONYMOUS: Since you seem like an authority on Aberdeenarea beach, even though you've never surfed it, I've got a couple of questions for ya, Ok? Do you know if Blackwater contracts out small units to accompany timid surfers into the lie-ups at regional classic spots like this one? Does the price include waterproof/ bulletproof vests to wear when travelling there? Do those vests stop penetration of any spears that the locals may resort to chucking at non-local surfers? Is this beach a 'clothing optional' type? If 'yes' to the last question, then are the chicks hot for western hemispere surfers? Do those chicks look hot? How much, if anything, do these hotty local girls charge for their intimate company? Do the chicks accept trinkets, spearheads, spices, & etc. as payment for their services? Thanx coz the hot chix would make the trip way more worth writing home about!
